Position Overview:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play an essential role in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for children in either part-time or full-time capacities. You will work closely with teachers and staff to provide tailored support, ensuring that each child’s individual needs are met. Your compassion, patience, and creativity will make a significant difference in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in delivering high-quality education and care to children in early years settings.
Support children’s learning and development through engaging activities and play-based learning.
Help to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where all children feel valued and included.
Provide personal care to children as needed, supporting their hygiene and daily routines.
Observe and monitor children’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
Qualifications:
Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (or equivalent).
Previous experience working in an educational setting, particularly in early years or childcare.
Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Ability to develop positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
Willingness to support personal care and be sensitive to the needs of individual children.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting young learners.
