We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a busy manufacturing site. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant and equipment through planned maintenance and reactive repairs.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs
Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
Maintain and repair a range of equipment, including:
Overhead cranes and jibs
Plasma and gas cutting machinery
Sawing and drilling equipment
Welders and grinders
Forklifts and side loaders
Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures
Organise and supervise subcontractors where required
Work independently and take ownership of maintenance tasksRequirements
Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
