Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

This well-established engineering business, based in Hinckley, are looking for a Maintenance & Warehouse Operative. This company, in Hinkley, are known for their quality, reliability, and hands-on expertise, delivering specialist solutions for some of the most complex engineering projects.

The Role

I’m looking for a practical, reliable, and proactive Maintenance & Warehouse Operative to join their friendly team in Hinckley. This is a varied, hands-on position within an engineering environment — ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, equipment, and machinery and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cleaning, maintaining, and preparing tools and equipment for projects

- Managing stock and ensuring accurate inventory control

- Packing, loading, and unloading materials for UK and overseas projects

- Transporting equipment for calibration and carrying out local deliveries

- Maintaining company vehicles and assisting with general site upkeep

- Supporting the project team with day-to-day engineering tasks as required

About You

You’ll have at least 3 years’ experience in a maintenance or warehouse role, with a solid understanding of how to work safely and efficiently in a hands-on technical environment.

Essential Skills:

- Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence

- Full UK driving licence

- Positive, can-do attitude with excellent attention to detail

Desirable Skills:

- Category C1 licence (for operating a 7.5T vehicle)

- Experience in an engineering or construction setting
