Maths Teacher – SEMH School
Are you a QTS Maths Teacher with a passion for inspiring students and breaking down barriers to learning? This vibrant SEMH school in Birmingham is seeking an experienced QTS Maths Teacher to teach small classes and support students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. This is a fantastic to inspire a love for maths and use real world examples to teach students.

This role is ideal for a Maths Teacher who thrives on tailoring lessons to individual needs, using creativity to engage students, and helping them develop confidence in their abilities. You will be part of an experienced and committed team of teachers and TA’s who work collaboratively to provide every child with the best possible education. Excellent classroom management skills are essential for this maths teaching role.

Job Role:

Teaching Maths to small classes of students with SEMH needs.
Planning and delivering lessons that are engaging, differentiated, and accessible for students of varying abilities.
Supporting students to overcome challenges and build confidence in their mathematical skills.
Managing classroom behaviours using effective de-escalation and behaviour management techniques.
Collaborating with colleagues to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.In return, you will:
