Job Description

Position: Maths Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
 Location: Tower Hamlets, London
 Contract: Fixed-Term (January - July)
 Salary: London MPS/UPS

As a Secondary Maths Teacher on supply for this Client, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
Use a variety of teaching strategies to support learners with diverse abilities and needs
Adapt confidently to new classroom settings and contribute positively to the school's learning community 

Person Specification & Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching Maths at KS3 & KS4
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with the ability to maintain a purposeful learning environment
A secure understanding of planning, marking and differentiation
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
Overseas police checks if applicable
Professional references covering the last 10 years where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
