Maths Teacher – Shrewsbury – Immediate / September Start | MPS / UPS Dependant on Experience
Tara Recruitment is currently supporting a well-established and supportive secondary school in the Shrewsbury area to recruit a dedicated Maths Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Maths Teacher to join a collaborative department and make a real difference to students’ confidence and achievement in mathematics.
The school is situated in a popular part of Shrewsbury with good transport links and a strong reputation within the local community. Staff work together to create a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop both academically and personally. The successful Maths Teacher will teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging and structured lessons that support students in developing strong numeracy and problem-solving skills.
This role is ideally full-time and offered on a rolling long-term basis, providing consistency for both staff and students. The school welcomes applications from experienced teachers as well as confident early career teachers who are eager to grow and develop in a supportive setting.
Salary:
MPS / UPS dependant on experience
The Role:
  * Teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  * Planning and delivering engaging and effective maths lessons
  * Marking and assessment in line with school policies
  * Supporting students to build confidence and progress in mathematics
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  * Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  * Have experience teaching Maths to GCSE level
  * Be passionate about inspiring students in mathematics
  * Be able to commit to a long-term role
