Murray McIntosh are currently seeking a Naval Combat Systems Engineer to work for a client of ours on a permanent basis as detailed below:
In this role you will be working predominantly remotely but visiting a mixture of sites located in Portsmouth, Plymouth, Bristol & Frome a few times per quarter.
This role would suit an ex Petty Officer / Chief Petty Officer / Royal Navy Weapon Engineer.
Experience & responsibilities:
* NSIPS Service Delivery.
* Conducting of Ship/Submarine combat system audits.
* NSIPS related bid and enquiry work.
* Surface ship experience & ideally served on T45 or QEC platforms
* Comprehensive working knowledge of surface ship combat systems
* Previous experience of working on Type 45 Destroyer ships or similar is essential
* Working knowledge of surface ship and/or submarine combat systems
* Ability to understand and manage interface data in large quantities
* Wider capability area technical project work for naval system related activities.
* Capability Area TAF and enquiry work
* Ability to obtain SC clearance
