Operations Manager

Location: North East of Ireland
Salary: €65000 - €75,000 + (DOE)

Syntech Recruitment are working with a well-established manufacturing business to appoint an Operations Manager to take full ownership of site performance, team leadership, and operational delivery.

This is a key leadership role with real influence over output, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

The Package

Operations Manager responsibilities:

  * Lead production, engineering, purchasing and logistics functions

  * Drive performance across output, quality, cost, and on-time delivery

  * Monitor and improve KPIs including scrap, downtime, and efficiency

  * Deliver continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives

  * Partner with senior leadership on strategy and commercial decisions

  * Develop and lead a multi-functional management team

Operations Manager experience:

  * Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role (Operations / Production Manager)

  * Strong track record of delivering KPIs and performance improvements

  * Experience leading cross-functional teams

  * Commercial awareness and ability to influence at senior level

  * Background in lean / continuous improvement environments
