Operations Manager
Location: Crewe, Cheshire
Salary: £45,000
Hours: Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. (8am – 7pm)

A top 20 national security provider is looking to appoint a talented people manager to oversee their delivery of mobile Vehicle patrol services. This is a key role in the effective management of mobile teams and services. You will be integral to the success of this business as you ensure a smooth delivery of services across the region.

The role will focus on leading a team responsible for mobile vehicle patrols and alarm response.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  * Prior experience leading a team

  * Prior security industry experience is not essential if you have experience leading teams in the transport, logistics or similar industry.

  * Strong operational leadership capability

  * Process driven

  * Adept at building relationships with front-line staff

Responsibilities:

  * Leadership of a small team

  * Operational planning

  * Vehicle management

  * Planning routes

  * Implementation of processes and procedures

  * Strive to improve service delivery in line with client SLA’s / KPI’s

  * Overseeing the effective Scheduling of staff

  * Forward planning of staff rota’s

  * Ensure a robust process in covering blow outs and staff absences

  * Assist with the recruitment and interviewing of staff

  * Co-ordinate staff inductions and training

  * Collate and administer annual leave requests

  * Respond effectively to additional staffing requests

  * Regularly updating the company scheduling system

  * Respond to situations in a professional manner

  * Attend client meetings

  * Communicate effectively with site managers
