Operations Supervisor (Depot)

Small Dole, West Sussex

£40,000 to £45,000 DOE + Overtime + 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Contributory Pension + Health Care Package + Training

Monday to Friday 07:30 to 17:00

Operations Supervisor required for a well-established Civil Engineering Contractor at their site in Small Dole. This is a great opportunity for an experienced leader to join a growing business where you will play an integral role within the team.

This role would suit candidates with operational leadership experience with proven line management experience. Candidates from any industry background are encouraged to apply.

Reporting into the Plant Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day plant hire operations on site whilst overseeing a team of eight to ten, consisting of plant fitters, warehouse staff, and service controllers.

The Operations Supervisor Role:

· Support the day-to-day operations of internal and external plant hire

· Oversee a team of 8 – 10 and ensure their activity aligns with forecasted plants

· Identify further training and development opportunities

· Support equipment utilisation and make recommendations

· Support the store steam with stock control, supplier pricing etc.

The Operations Supervisor Candidate:

· Proven leadership experience

· Any industry background – plant, fleet, logistics or similar

· Experience using an ERP system
