Part‑Time Year 2 Teacher – PR3, Preston

Start Date: April 2026 (after Easter holidays)
Contract: Part time – 2 full days per week
Days: Negotiable
Duration: Until the end of the academic year
Pay: £120–£160 per day, dependent on experience

A warm and supportive primary school in the PR3 area of Preston is seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team on a part‑time basis from April 2026, continuing through to the end of the academic year.

The Role

Teaching a Year 2 class for two full days each week (days are negotiable)
Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
Working closely with the class teacher and KS1 team to ensure continuity and pupil progress
Creating a positive, inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

QTS or equivalent
Strong classroom practice with experience in KS1 (Year 2 experience preferred)
