Build strong relationships with children and families, working to improve the outcomes for SEN learners
Work closely with external agencies and providers of support
Work to deadlines and process all relevant paperwork for EHCP's and provision plans
Lead, co-ordinate and deliver high quality training for staff
Support staff with developing effective behaviour strategies
Establish open and effective communication channels with parents and carers, fostering strong partnerships to support student development.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status.
Holds or is willing to undertake the national award for SEN Co-Ordination.
Track record of supporting SEN learners and outcomes.
In-depth knowledge of the national curriculum.
