Position: Key Stage 1 (KS1) Primary School Teacher
Location: Nantwich, Cheshire
Start Date: Monday 13th April 2026
Contract: Full-time, until the end of the Summer term
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

A welcoming and community-focused primary school in Nantwich is seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS1 Teacher to join their team from Monday 13th April through to the Summer holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver high‑quality lessons aligned with the KS1 national curriculum.
Provide engaging and creative learning opportunities that support early literacy, numeracy, and wider subject development.
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including SEN and higher attainers.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, maintaining accurate records.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and school leaders.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers, offering updates on pupil development.
Uphold the school’s safeguarding, behaviour, and pastoral care policies.
Contribute to the life of the school, including events, assemblies, and enrichment activities where appropriate.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
Excellent classroom management, organisation, and communication skills.
A nurturing, positive approach to supporting young learners.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
Commitment to high‑quality teaching and continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
