Position: Key Stage 2 (KS2) Primary School Teacher
Location: Sandbach, Cheshire
Start Date: Monday 13th April 2026
Contract: Full-time, until the Summer holidays
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience (MPS/UPS)

About the Role

A friendly and supportive primary school in Sandbach is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from Monday 13th April through to the end of the academic year. Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
Plan, prepare, and assess work to meet the needs of all learners.
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and senior leaders.
Maintain strong communication with parents and carers regarding pupil progress.
Uphold the school’s safeguarding, behaviour, and pastoral care policies.
Contribute to the wider life of the school where required (e.g. assemblies, clubs, events).

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
Ability to differentiate learning to support a range of abilities.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Reliable, organised, and committed to delivering high‑quality learning.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
