Key Stage Two Teacher – South Manchester – Temp to Perm

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in South Manchester, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Key Stage Two Teacher on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed teacher to make a lasting impact within a nurturing school environment.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stage Two, supporting pupils in achieving their full potential while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils
Establish strong behaviour management strategies to support a positive learning environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote pupil wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching within Key Stage Two in a UK primary setting
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
A nurturing and adaptable teaching style
A commitment to safeguarding and child protection
