Role Overview
Join us at Airbus as a General Procurement Category Buyer, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our procurement operations. Following a recent acquisition, this position is all about driving integration, ensuring seamless transitions, and unlocking operational efficiency. Based in Belfast, you'll be at the heart of change management, strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Champion compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Build strong, trust-based relationships across our trans-national procurement network and with local stakeholders.
Act as the vital link between suppliers and Airbus teams, ensuring a unified "One-Airbus" voice.
Drive supplier performance by monitoring contractual obligations, tackling non-quality issues, and managing late deliveries.
Lead supplier and contract management reviews to identify challenges and implement solutions.
Approve requisitions, execute cross-functional team (CFT) activities, and ensure delivery excellence.
Support change management initiatives by guiding stakeholders through new procurement systems and processes.
Communicate change effectively, deliver training, and track progress to ensure adoption.
Travel as required to strengthen supplier and stakeholder relationships.

Hands-on experience with change management.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, including at senior levels.
Solid commercial, contractual, and financial knowledge.
Fluent negotiation-level English.
Strong networking skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
Desirable Extras
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
CIPS certification (or equivalent).
Experience in mergers, acquisitions, or post-acquisition integration.
Familiarity with procurement systems such as SAP and Coupa.
