Product Manager – Life Sciences (Contract)
Location: London (King’s Cross) or Stevenage | Hybrid (1–2 days onsite/week)
Contract Length: 6 months
Rate: £500–£520 per day Inside IR35
A leading global organisation is seeking experienced Product Managers with strong Life Sciences domain expertise to support a major data and product transformation programme. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the UK, US (East Coast), and Poland, driving strategy, requirements development, and product evolution across a modern scientific data ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Product Knowledge Transfer
* Document existing product knowledge: use cases, usage metrics, business processes, technical documentation, and non-functional requirements.
Business Analysis & Strategy
* Analyse AS-IS product landscape, use cases, workflows, and customer needs.
* Propose transformation strategies for legacy products.
Product Requirements Development
* Develop high-quality product requirement documents following established processes.
* Deliver work according to agreed priorities and timelines.
Stakeholder Management
* Serve as the point of entry for business requests for assigned products.
* Map stakeholder influence, needs, and communication cadence.
* Develop and execute tailored engagement strategies.
* Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, etc.).
Product Development Management
* Fulfil Product Manager responsibilities throughout the product development lifecycle.
* Attend Agile ceremonies to ensure delivery alignment.
Must-Have Skills
* Strong experience in business use case analysis and user interviews
* Stakeholder mapping and engagement
* Requirements documentation
* Working knowledge of software product development and modern Cloud environments
* Experience with Google Cloud data engineering technologies
* Hands-on experience with modern SQL and NoSQL databases
* Proven Agile delivery experience
* Proficient with Jira and Confluence
* Life Sciences industry experience is essential
Experience Level
* Senior Product Manager – Scientific Data Engineering
* 8+ years in product management within data-driven Life Science environments
