Production Manager| Up to £55000 per annum| West Hallam | Excellent Benefits |
As a Production Manager you will lead a team to ensure the daily targets are met in a safe and efficient manner, collaborating with other Supervisors and Managers along the way. You will optimise productivity and uphold safety protocols.
 
 Key Responsibilities:

Manage the activities of your department, including liaising with other departmental supervisors and management to ensure a safe and tidy working environment compliant with Company specification to meet Company and client requirements
Manage attendance and timekeeping and escalate when necessary
Ensure compliance with Company Health & Safety regulations
Development and delivery of risk assessments
Create SOPs to ensure all tasks within the factory areas have set procedures which are followed by all Production personnel
Ensure high standards of housekeeping are met
Monitor and achieve productivity targets
Ensure all equipment and tools are in full working order
Hold daily briefings and team meetings to keep personnel up to date and on track
Proactively communicate with the management team to identify and resolve any arising or identified issue
Maintain high standards for working practices, attitudes and behaviours

Knowledge and Experience:

Previous experience of working in a supervisory role
Experience working with concrete or heavy Manufacturing essential
Experience in concrete/pre-cast sector would be beneficial but is not required
Experience of quality control processes
Knowledge of production processes
