Production Supervisor / Production Manager
Location: Kirkby in Ashfield
Salary: £40,000 – £53,000 + benefits
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (flexible start/finish)

Are you an experienced Production Supervisor or aspiring Production Manager ready to take full ownership of the manufacturing process within a growing business?
This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer of bag-filling and handling equipment, recently acquired by a larger group and currently undergoing significant investment in systems, processes, and equipment.

The Role
You’ll oversee the full production process — from design through to assembly and testing — working closely with directors and design teams to ensure consistent output and continuous improvement. The company is in the process of working towards ISO 9001 accreditation, and this role will be central to that journey.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Lead and manage daily production activities

  * 

    Oversee fabrication, assembly, painting, and testing operations

  * 

    Ensure full process adherence and continuous improvement

  * 

    Work cross-functionally with the design and operations teams

  * 

    Help implement ISO 9001 standards and contribute to systemisation

  * 

    Monitor and support team performance and development

  * 

    Drive health & safety standards throughout the workshop

  * 

    Align production with the company’s growth and quality targets

Essential Requirements

  * 

    Experience leading teams within a manufacturing or engineering environment

  * 

    Ability to manage and coordinate across departments

Desirable Experience

  * 

    Exposure to ISO 9001 or other quality systems

  * 

    Strong knowledge of health & safety procedures
