Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and organised Project Coordinator to join our client, a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Ipswich. This is a hands-on role supporting the smooth delivery of a wide range of projects from concept through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  * Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of engineering and manufacturing projects.

  * Support project managers with scheduling, documentation, reporting, and communication across teams.

  * Liaise with internal departments, clients, and suppliers to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.

  * Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality, helping ensure key milestones are achieved.

  * Contribute to process improvements and help streamline project workflows.

The Ideal Candidate

  * Experience in a project support, coordination, or planning role—experience within engineering or manufacturing is beneficial but not essential.

  * Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.

  * Confident communicator able to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.

  * Proactive, detail-focused, and adaptable.
