Job Description

Project Supervisor – Solar PV – Hessle – Permanent

We’re supporting a growing renewable energy contractor as they continue to deliver small-to-medium scale commercial solar PV projects across the UK. They’re now looking for an experienced Project Supervisor to oversee the delivery of multiple installation and upgrade projects, ensuring safe, compliant and high-quality execution on every site.

The Project Supervisor role will involve:

  * 

    Supervising the delivery of commercial solar PV installations from early planning through to final completion

  * 

    Coordinating project timelines, materials, subcontractors and site resources to keep each job moving on schedule

  * 

    Supporting the delivery of both new installations (5kW–2MW) and upgrade/maintenance works on existing PV systems

  * 

    Ensuring all works meet CDM requirements and maintaining strong standards of health, safety and environmental compliance

  * 

    Monitoring technical quality and resolving on-site issues to maintain performance and project integrity

  * 

    Providing regular progress updates to internal teams and clients, ensuring clear communication and smooth delivery

  * 

    Upholding strong client relationships through a proactive and hands-on approach to project supervision

The successful Project Supervisor will need:

  * 

    Experience supervising or managing solar PV installation projects

  * 

    Strong understanding of commercial solar systems, inverters and general electrical installation practices

  * 

    Confident communication and organisational skills, able to coordinate multiple moving parts

  * 

    Awareness of CDM regulations and health & safety responsibilities

  * 

    Ability to work effectively with installers, subcontractors and client teams
