Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer

North of Scotland | Up to £55,000 + Overtime + Van + Benefits

FM Search & Select are supporting a leading HVAC & Refrigeration contractor in their search for an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join their expanding service team. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a well-established business with strong contracts across the North of Scotland.

You will be responsible for service, maintenance, reactive repairs and minor installations across a range of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

The Role

  * 

    Service, maintenance and fault-finding on a wide range of commercial refrigeration systems, including cold rooms, freezers, chillers and display cabinets.

  * 

    Reactive breakdown support and diagnostics.

  * 

    Service and maintenance on split systems, VRV/VRF and general air conditioning equipment.

  * 

    Minor installation works as required.

  * 

    Ensure all work is completed to regulatory and H&S standards.

  * 

    Provide excellent customer service while working independently across client sites.

  * 

    Covering the North of Scotland region.

What You Need

  * 

    Strong experience as a Refrigeration or HVAC Engineer in the commercial sector.

  * 

    F-Gas Category 1 (essential).

  * 

    SVQ Level 2/3 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.

  * 

    Good knowledge of commercial refrigeration and A/C systems.

  * 

    Full UK Driving Licence.

  * 

    Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
