Job Description

Must-haves

  * Proven experience in a sales leadership or management role, ideally with at least 2 years’ experience at Team Leader or Management level

  * Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate, coach and develop high-performing teams

  * Excellent communication, relationship-building and interpersonal skills

  * Advanced IT skills, including strong Excel knowledge (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc)

  * Experience preparing and presenting detailed reports to senior management or board level

  * Strong understanding of KPI-driven environments and performance management

  * Excellent problem-solving, organisational and decision-making skills

Nice to have

  * Experience monitoring competitor activity and analysing market trends

  * Proven experience developing and implementing sales and business growth strategies

So, what will you be doing?

  * Leading, coaching and motivating the sales team to consistently achieve targets and drive business performance

  * Creating a positive, collaborative and high-performing sales culture

  * Setting clear objectives, managing workloads and monitoring individual and team performance

  * Delivering structured onboarding and ongoing training and development

  * Identifying skills gaps and implementing tailored development plans

  * Reviewing and analysing sales performance data to identify opportunities for improvement

  * Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales, grow existing business and maximise revenue

  * Identifying new business opportunities and supporting the wider commercial strategy

  * Building and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring consistently high levels of customer service

  * Preparing and presenting sales reports, forecasts and performance updates to senior management

  * Providing day-to-day leadership, guidance and support to the team, addressing challenges and keeping performance on track
