The Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 & KS4 (and KS5 for experienced teachers)
- Teach one or more science specialisms (Biology / Chemistry / Physics)
- Use assessment data to monitor pupils’ progress
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and safety in labs

Person Specification:
- QTS or equivalent, with a degree in a science subject
- Experience across KS3 & KS4
- Passion for science and practical, hands‑on learning
About you:
To be considered for the Science Teacher position, you will:
Have experience teaching secondary school students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and effective lessons in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or combined Science.
Be confident in planning, assessing, and adapting lessons to meet the needs of all students.
Have a good understanding of the KS3 and GCSE Science curriculum, including practical experiments and health & safety procedures in a laboratory setting.
Hold a relevant teaching qualification, such as QTS, PGCE, or equivalent, with experience in classroom management and student engagement.
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire students and work collaboratively with colleagues.
Be able to obtain suitable references and an enhanced DBS check.
