Science Teacher – Full-Time, Long-Term
Location: Watford Salary: £34,398 – £46,839 (based on experience) Start Date: January 2026

The school is seeking a passionate and motivated Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. Whether you are an experienced educator or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and bring science to life in the classroom.
Your Role Will Include
Delivering engaging and practical Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
Teaching your specialism—Biology, Chemistry, or Physics—preferred
Creating a classroom culture that sparks curiosity and scientific thinking
Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
Supporting GCSE preparation through targeted teaching and revision
Contributing to curriculum planning and resource development
Promoting STEM through clubs, fairs, and enrichment activities
Participating in wider school life and building strong community links
Who We’re Looking For
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (strong unqualified candidates considered)
Experience teaching Science at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for science education
Creative, student-focused teaching style
Effective classroom management and high expectations
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
