Secondary Cover Supervisor - Winchester

Prospero Teaching is recruiting confident and professional Secondary Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across the Winchester area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting students' learning and development in a secondary school environment.

As a Secondary Cover Supervisor, you will supervise lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged with their learning and complete the work that has been set. The Role:

Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of the class teacher
Deliver pre‑prepared lesson materials and instructions
Ensure students remain focused and engaged with their learning
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Support students with lesson activities where appropriate
Cover a range of subjects across the secondary curriculum
Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding lesson outcomes
Maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
Follow safeguarding and school policies consistentlyIdeal Candidate:
