Job Description

Role: Secondary Teacher Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Flexible temporary roles (day-to-day, short-term and long-term) Salary: £34,069-£46,940 per annum, pro-rata (depending on experience, role and/or qualifications) About the role We're looking for talented Secondary Teachers across all subject areas, from core curriculum subjects such as English, Maths and Science to Humanities, PE, Computing, Creative Arts, Technology, Modern Foreign Languages, and more. As a valued member of our supply team, you'll teach in a range of school environments, inspire students through engaging lessons, and help maintain a positive and effective learning atmosphere. You'll have the flexibility to deliver pre-prepared content or utilise your own subject knowledge and teaching expertise. About the school/us At Heart of Supply we work in partnership with a wide network of welcoming, well-supported schools across Lincoln and the surrounding areas, including primary and secondary schools, academies, local authority provisions, and specialist SEND settings. As a Heart of Supply educator, you’ll be part of a growing team that’s making a real difference in the classroom, gaining valuable experience across diverse environments. What you will need: * QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) & recent UK secondary classroom experience * Strong subject knowledge & flexibility to teach across KS3 and KS4 * Confident, respectful behaviour management * Ability to build quick rapport with students and colleagues * A proactive, adaptable approach and genuine passion for your subject * At least 6 weeks’ UK teaching experience (including placements) We’re fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
