SEN Case Officer
Fully Remote
Rate: £280 per day (Umbrella)
Contract: 6 months
Start Date: End of April – End of October
Hours: 37 hours per week
A local authority is seeking experienced SEN Case Officers to support their current backlog of work. This fully remote role offers the chance to work across a range of statutory SEND responsibilities, including assessments, reviews, and case management.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of children and young people with EHCPs.
Conduct annual reviews and new assessments in line with statutory requirements.
Draft and amend EHCPs, liaising with parents, schools, and external agencies.
Present cases and contribute to decision-making panels.
Ensure all duties are carried out in compliance with council policies, SEND Code of Practice, and relevant legislation.Who We’re Looking For:
Experienced in annual reviews and/or new assessments.
Strong understanding of statutory SEND processes.
Able to manage full casework responsibilities – this is not a role solely for completing reviews or assessments.
Confident working independently in a remote setting.Successful applicants will be allocated work based on interview performance and personal preference.
