Salary: Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS depending on experience)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team in KS1 within a specialist provision in the SM4 area. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to supporting children with additional needs and making a meaningful difference to their learning and development.

The Role:

  * 

    Teaching a small KS1 class within a specialist provision supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

  * 

    Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils’ individual learning needs.

  * 

    Working closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and other professionals to support pupil progress.

  * 

    Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where pupils can thrive.

  * 

    Monitoring and assessing pupil progress and adapting strategies to support development.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  * 

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  * 

    Experience teaching in KS1 and/or working with pupils with SEN (experience in specialist settings is desirable).

  * 

    Strong behaviour management and a nurturing, patient approach.

  * 

    The ability to plan creative and accessible lessons to meet a range of learning needs.

  * 

    A commitment to inclusion and supporting pupils with additional needs.
