We are looking for a compassionate, skilled, and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one academic and emotional support to children in their homes across Medway.
About the Role
As a Home-Based SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Deliver tailored academic support (English, Maths, and functional skills) to children unable to attend school.
Work closely with parents, carers, and educational professionals to create engaging, individualised learning plans.
Support children with a range of needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, anxiety, communication difficulties).
Promote confidence, independence, and positive learning experiences in a nurturing home environment.
About You
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Experience supporting children with SEN (in schools, tutoring, or care settings).
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to learning.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (desirable).
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
