We are seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Cannock, Staffordshire. This is a full time position starting in May 2026 and continuing through to July 2026, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils with additional needs, helping them to engage with learning and develop both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one to one and small group support for pupils with a variety of special educational needs
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
* Adapt learning materials and activities to suit individual needs
* Promote confidence, independence, and active participation
* Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent support
The Ideal Candidate

* Graduates or final year students from any subject background are encouraged to apply
* Previous SEN experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided
* Patient, empathetic, and resilient

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a school setting.
