SEN Teaching Assistant - Rochdale
A specialist SEN primary school in Rochdale is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with autism, speech, language and communication needs, and SEMH. This is a full‑time role supporting primary‑aged pupils who present with a wide range of needs, from non‑verbal or limited communication to pupils who have experienced trauma and require strong emotional and behavioural support.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils throughout the school day, supporting both learning and emotional regulation. You may support pupils on a 1:1 basis or within small groups, helping them communicate, regulate emotions and engage positively with learning activities.

- Support learning through physical, practical and outdoor activities
- Build strong, consistent relationships with pupils
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
