APT Education is recruiting a resilient, patient and committed SEN Teaching Assistant in Kettering to work 1:1 with pupils with additional needs at a large, welcoming Primary school. This full‑time September start role involves supporting pupils with challenging behaviour, Autism, ADHD, behavioural needs, and non‑verbal communication needs.

⭐ About the Role – SEN Teaching Assistant (Kettering)

As a SEN Teaching Assistant in Kettering, you will:

    Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs

  * 

    Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, behavioural needs, and non‑verbal communication

  * 

    Use visuals, routines and calm communication strategies

  * 

    Assist with emotional regulation and de‑escalation

  * 

    Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider SLT

    A patient, resilient and calm approach

  * 

    Valid DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
