SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Bristol  -   Full time - Part time - flexible  Make a Difference Every Day Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school environment. The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support pupils with a variety of needs, including: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) ADHD Speech and Language Difficulties Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) Your responsibilities will include: Providing one-to-one and small group support Assisting pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development Supporting the delivery of individual education plans (IEPs) Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment About You We are looking for someone who: Has experience working with children or young people, ideally within an education or SEN setting Demonstrates patience, resilience, and a positive attitude Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills Is passionate about supporting children with additional needs Can work effectively as part of a team and use their own initiative Holds relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential) What We Offer A welcoming and supportive school community Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Experienced leadership and SEN support teams A rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference Competitive rates of pay Apply Today If you are committed to helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential, we'd love to hear from you.
