Job Description

SEN Teaching Assistant – BS34 Primary School (KS1) Full time 

We are working with a fantastic primary school that is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full time, long term basis from after the Easter break until the end of the academic year.

This is a warm, welcoming school with a supportive staff team and a real community feel. The setting is collaborative and friendly, and the leadership team is committed to staff wellbeing and professional development. There are also some great extras on offer such as ongoing support and CPD opportunities

The role

•Full time SEN Teaching Assistant
•5 days a week from after Easter until the end of the academic year
•Supporting a child in KS1 with autism
•Leading phonics interventions
•Working 1:1 and with small groups where needed
•Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
•Working collaboratively as part of a supportive team

About you:

•Experience working with children with autism
•Confident leading phonics interventions
•Recent experience in a primary school setting
•Reliable, positive and committed to making a difference for children
•A team player who enjoys working collaboratively
