Location: Bristol
 Hours: Full Time, Monday–Friday
 Salary: £92.95 – £100.10 per day

About the Role

We’re looking for a caring, confident and motivated Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bristol.

This role is perfect for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing across the classroom. 

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide classroom support to pupils across a range of subjects and year groups
Deliver 1:1 and small‑group interventions to help boost progress
Support children with their communication, emotional regulation and engagement
Help create a positive, inclusive and structured learning environment
Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils
Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour
Contribute to observations, assessments and general pupil support

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking individuals who have:

A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
Experience working with children in an educational setting
SEN or SEMH experience is desirable
Patience, empathy, resilience and a nurturing approach
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
The ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations
A proactive, flexible and team‑focused mindset
Reliability and a strong commitment to pupil development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
