Class Teacher – Felixstowe Campus
Full-time | Permanent
MPR/UPR £32,900–£51,000 + SEN allowance
Start: Immediate

An exciting opportunity to join an outstanding all-through setting for pupils with SLD. You will lead a small class of 8–12 pupils, supported by Teaching Assistants and a Phase Leader, delivering engaging, tailored learning in a modern, well-resourced environment.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons to meet complex SEND needs
Adapt the curriculum to provide personalised and accessible learning experiences
Lead and manage a class group, directing Teaching Assistants effectively
Monitor progress, assess learning, and maintain accurate records
Implement EHCP targets and individual learning programmes
Support pupils’ communication, independence, and emotional development
Create a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
Use innovative strategies to engage and motivate learners
Work closely with families, staff, and external professionals
Contribute to whole-school development and collaborative working practices
