Job Title: SEND Dance and Drama Teacher
 Area: Oldham, Greater Manchester
 Start Date: Monday 20th April 2026
 Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
 Salary: £900-£1,250 per week (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Are you a creative, enthusiastic Dance and Drama Teacher with experience supporting students with special educational needs? About the Role:

Deliver high-quality, tailored Dance and Drama lessons to learners primarily across KS5
Create engaging, accessible, and creative schemes of work that support EHCP outcomes
Adapt teaching to meet individual needs, sensory considerations, and communication styles
Build positive relationships with students, encouraging self-expression, teamwork, and confidence
Work collaboratively with the SENCO, therapists, support assistants, and parents/carers to provide a holistic approachWhat We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Dance, Drama, or Performing Arts within an SEN setting (or strong SEN experience within mainstream)
A calm, patient, empathetic approach and strong behaviour management skills
Creativity, passion for inclusive arts education, and a commitment to supporting every learner's developmentTo Be Eligible You Must:

Have the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the update service OR be willing to apply for a new one
Provide two professional, child-related references
