Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEND, including autism, learning difficulties, and communication challenges.
Help implement and follow EHCP targets, adapting classroom tasks to meet each child's needs.
Support pupils in managing sensory and emotional regulation activities.
Encourage independence, confidence, and active participation in learning.
Collaborate with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to ensure consistency of care and track pupil progress.
Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment for every child.About You:
Experience supporting children or young people with SEND or complex needs.
Calm, patient, and empathetic approach with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Comfortable working with pupils with autism, physical needs, or communication barriers.
A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) is advantageous but not essential.Why You'll Love This Role:
