Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Swindon
Sector: Tier 2 Regional Contractor
Salary: Up to £75,000 + Package

The Opportunity

A great opportunity to join a respected regional contractor with a strong reputation across education, commercial, heritage, healthcare and community sectors. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll lead commercial delivery on multiple projects, taking ownership of procurement, forecasting and commercial risk management.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for:

  * 

    Full commercial leadership on live projects.

  * 

    Preparing cost plans, budgets and contract documentation.

  * 

    Subcontract procurement and negotiation.

  * 

    Managing valuations, variations and commercial reporting.

  * 

    Final accounts and contract administration.

  * 

    Monitoring risks, cost forecasts and supply chain performance.

  * 

    Working closely with site teams, clients and consultants.

  * 

    Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff.

About You

  * 

    QS or SQS experience with a main or regional contractor.

  * 

    Strong understanding of procurement, cost control and JCT contracts.

  * 

    Experienced working across multiple sectors or varied project types.

  * 

    Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills.

  * 

    Able to plan workload, manage deadlines and work collaboratively.

  * 

    Motivated to represent the business professionally with clients and partners.

  * 

    Full UK driving licence.
