Senior Sales Administrator – URGENT HIRE

Location: Chesterfield (Hybrid – 1 day per week working from home)
Salary: £29,000 per annum
Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00am–5:00pm | Friday 8:00am–3:30pm

This is an urgent requirement, and our client is looking to interview and appoint the right person as soon as possible. If you're an experienced Sales Administrator, Internal Sales Executive, or Customer Service professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment and thrives on delivering exceptional customer service, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

What You'll Be Doing

  * 

    Acting as the first point of contact for all sales administration enquiries

  * 

    Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues across multiple business divisions

  * 

    Supporting new business opportunities and identifying market intelligence

  * 

    Negotiating pricing and maintaining accurate pricing records

  * 

    Managing your own portfolio of customer accounts

  * 

    Processing customer orders and maintaining an accurate order book

  * 

    Supporting sourcing and supply activities where required

  * 

    Managing a busy inbox and prioritising multiple tasks effectively

  * 

    Attending Microsoft Teams meetings with colleagues and customers

  * 

    Occasionally accompanying colleagues on customer visits

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys working at pace and can confidently juggle multiple priorities.

You'll ideally have:

  * 

    Previous experience in Sales Administration, Internal Sales, Customer Service or a similar office-based role

  * 

    The ability to thrive in a busy, fast-moving environment

  * 

    Excellent organisation and time management skills

  * 

    Strong communication and relationship-building abilities

  * 

    High attention to detail and accuracy

  * 

    A proactive, positive attitude with the confidence to work independently

  * 

    SAP experience would be an advantage but is not essential

  * 

    A professional, customer-focused approach and a genuine team-player mentality
