Job Description

Role: Site Engineer 
Rate: £350-£400/Day (Outside IR35) 
Location: Norwich 

Length of Contract: 6 months (with the opportunity to move onto another project afterwards) 
Want to work on a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project while supporting the delivery of critical energy infrastructure? 

Our client is looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a Battery Energy Storage project in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a fast-paced civils package, with the potential to move straight onto another scheme once this project is complete. 

Job Role 
As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of the civils package, taking responsibility for setting out, quality assurance and buried services coordination across the project. 

You will be involved in setting out cable ducts, earthworks, reinforced concrete pad foundations and a small amount of deep drainage works. You'll also work closely with the wider engineering team to ensure QA documentation and ITPs are completed ready for client handover, whilst managing buried service avoidance plans, issuing permits and ensuring excavation activities are carried out safely and in line with project requirements. 

Requirements

Previous experience in a Site Engineer position within civil engineering or energy infrastructure
Experience setting out cable ducts, earthworks, reinforced concrete foundations and drainage
Experience compiling QA documentation and working to ITPs
Experience coordinating buried services and issuing excavation permits
Relevant Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
CSCS Card relevant to the role
SSSTS or SMSTS
Experience using CAT & Genny
