Job Description

Our client, a leading provider in the utility sector, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join their team in the water industry. This is a permanent role focused on managing wastewater projects, ensuring high standards and compliance with health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational supervisory responsibility for wastewater projects
Reviewing progress and performance on-site, ensuring all standards are adhered to
Organising all resources for schemes, including plant, labour, materials, and sub-contractors
Managing compliance in line with Health and Safety procedures on site (weekly checks, inspections, team briefings, audits)
Providing weekly reports on sites to the management team and the client
Undertaking health and safety inspections in and around the workplace
Raising health and safety-related matters with management
Investigating reportable accidents or incidents as they occur 

Job Requirements:

Experience in the utilities sector, ideally in wastewater and capital works
Competence, knowledge, and experience in deep excavations, civils, drainage, and structures
Experience in street works and confined spaces
Awareness of costs and programmes
Strong team management and communication skills
Proficient IT skills
Full UK Driving Licence
