Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a major £30m residential apartment development in Bristol city centre.

The role is with a highly regarded UK developer and main contractor known for delivering high-quality residential-led schemes, including large-scale apartment developments, mixed-use projects, and regeneration schemes across key urban locations. The business has a strong reputation for design-led construction, quality delivery, and working on complex city-centre developments involving reinforced concrete structures.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of a multi-storey RC frame apartment scheme, overseeing specific work packages and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.

This role requires a strong background in residential developments and RC frame construction, with the ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate works within a busy city-centre site.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Oversee day-to-day site operations on an RC frame apartment build

  * 

    Manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades

  * 

    Ensure works are delivered in line with programme and specifications

  * 

    Monitor quality standards and carry out inspections

  * 

    Maintain high levels of health & safety compliance

  * 

    Liaise with the wider project team including Project Manager and engineers

  * 

    Support progress reporting and site documentation

Requirements

  * 

    Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential apartment schemes

  * 

    Strong experience with RC frame construction

  * 

    Background working for a developer or main contractor

  * 

    Ability to manage packages independently

Essential Qualifications:

  * 

    SMSTS

  * 

    CSCS Card (Manager level preferred)

  * 

    First Aid at Work
