The Opportunity

We are recruiting for experienced Fit Out Site Managers to join one of the UK's leading engineering and construction businesses on a major nuclear infrastructure project at Hinkley Point.

The company is renowned for delivering some of the country's most complex and technically challenging projects across the nuclear, healthcare, commercial, infrastructure, and advanced manufacturing sectors. With a reputation built on innovation, safety, quality, and engineering excellence, they continue to play a key role in delivering nationally significant developments throughout the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a flagship project and be part of a large-scale commercial fit out package within a highly regulated environment.

The Role

As Fit Out Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of commercial fit out works across key areas of the project. Working alongside the wider project team, you will ensure works are completed safely, to programme, and to the highest quality standards.

The successful candidate will have experience managing large commercial fit out projects and be confident coordinating multiple subcontractors within a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site operations across commercial fit out packages.

Coordinate subcontractors, labour, materials, and site logistics.

Ensure all works are delivered in line with programme requirements and project specifications.

Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Monitor quality throughout construction and manage snagging and handover processes.

Attend client, subcontractor, and project coordination meetings.

Ensure all site documentation, permits, and records are maintained accurately.

Work closely with project management teams to drive programme performance and project milestones.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Site Manager on large commercial fit out projects.

Strong background delivering high-value commercial, office, healthcare, industrial, or technically complex fit out schemes.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors simultaneously.

Experience working within highly regulated environments would be advantageous.
