Job Description

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading commercial fit out and workplace refurbishment contractor delivering high-quality office, commercial, and interior fit out projects across the UK.

The business has built a strong reputation for delivering innovative and high-specification workplace environments, managing projects from design and planning through to construction and final handover. Their portfolio includes large-scale office refurbishments, CAT A and CAT B fit outs, and premium commercial interior schemes.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a commercial fit out project in Bristol, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.

You will coordinate subcontractors, oversee site operations, manage health & safety compliance, and maintain quality throughout all stages of the fit out process.

This role would suit someone with previous experience managing fast-paced commercial interior or office fit out projects.

Key Responsibilities

Managing day-to-day site activities on a commercial fit out project
Coordinating subcontractors, labour, and material deliveries
Ensuring works are completed safely and in line with programme requirements
Managing health & safety procedures and maintaining site compliance
Overseeing quality assurance and finishing standards throughout the project
Liaising with project managers, clients, consultants, and subcontractors
Managing project documentation, progress reporting, and site records
Supporting handover and completion phases

Requirements

Previous experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit out or refurbishment projects
Strong understanding of office interiors and fast-track fit out environments
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage subcontractors and programme delivery effectively
