Job Description

CNX Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager for a temporary contract on a retail warehouse refurbishment project in Dublin.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of the refurbishment works, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with programme and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  * Manage the day-to-day activities across the retail warehouse refurbishment project.

  * Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site operatives.

  * Ensure works are delivered in line with the project programme and specifications.

  * Maintain high standards of health, safety and site compliance.

  * Monitor workmanship and ensure all works meet the required quality standards.

  * Coordinate deliveries, materials and site logistics.

  * Liaise with the project management team, subcontractors and other stakeholders.

  * Conduct regular site inspections and resolve issues as they arise.

  * Monitor progress against programme and provide regular updates.

  * Maintain accurate site records and relevant project documentation.

  * Ensure the site remains organised, safe and compliant throughout the refurbishment.

Requirements

  * Proven experience working as a Site Manager within a construction or refurbishment environment.

  * Previous experience delivering retail, warehouse, commercial or industrial refurbishment projects is highly desirable.

  * Strong understanding of construction health & safety requirements.

  * Ability to effectively manage subcontractors and multiple trades.

  * Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

  * Relevant Site Management qualifications/cards.

  * Ability to work independently and take ownership of the project.
