Job Description

Questech are recruiting on behalf of our client in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

This client are a a fast paced Production facility, experiencing substantial growth.

The Person:

  * Relevant Level 3 Engineering qualification or recognised, standards-based time served apprenticeship.

  * Relevant experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment and Site Services Role

  * Experience with refrigeration, compressed air and vacuum systems

  * Pipefitting and Welding experience would be an advantage

  * Proficient written, numerical, and verbal skills

  * Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office family of products

  * Experience of Maintenance Management Systems & software.

  * Asset management knowledge

The Role:

  * Planned Preventative Maintenance: Ensure planned maintenance is carried out in line with the site schedule.

  * Liaising with other departments to ensure tasks are completed with little to no impact on operations.

  * Process Capability: Establish capability of all site services processes and follow statistical process controls to monitor and ensure processes are stable and deliver products that meet customer specifications.

  * Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve standards set by facilitating and executing 8 Step Practical Problem Solving or other appropriate KPS methodologies within the site maintenance team.

  * Communication: Liaise with Engineering colleagues on a regular basis to communicate equipment status, performance against the required schedule.

  * Manage Health and Safety: Ensure all engineering work carried out in the value stream meets the requirements of Quality, Safety, Health & Environment policies & procedures.

  * Document Standard Work & Standard Confirmation: Ensure documents are up to date and that reflect the preventive maintenance (legionella, daily checks, site compliance)

This role is working a Panama shift pattern, Days only,

The salary is between £50,000pa - £52,000pa dependant on skills and experience.
