Job Description

Freelance Site Supervisor Required

Location: Distribution Centre Project

Duration: 5 Weeks (with further work available for the right candidate)

Start Date: Immediate

Hours: Flexible 8.00am – 5.00pm (some days 5.00am)

Pay: Negotiable

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Site Supervisor to oversee a refurbishment project at a busy distribution centre. The works will include the installation of fire doors, fire alarms, and fire stopping, and we require a proactive individual who can effectively manage site operations and drive productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  * Supervise and coordinate site teams carrying out fire protection works.

  * Ensure operatives remain productive and focused on programme delivery.

  * Monitor the quality and progress of all works on site.

  * Liaise daily with the Main Contractor's Project Manager.

  * Provide regular progress updates to your Line Manager.

  * Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety.

  * Assist in resolving site issues and maintaining programme deadlines.

  * Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

Essential Requirements

  * Valid CSCS Card.

  * SSSTS qualification (minimum requirement).

  * Previous experience supervising refurbishment projects.

  * Experience managing fire door, fire alarm, or passive fire protection works would be advantageous.

  * Strong communication and organisational skills.

  * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple work fronts.
