Social Worker - Young People's Safeguarding
Location: Sand Martin House, Bittern Way, Peterborough
Rate: £40 per hour
Working Pattern: 2-3 days in the office, remainder remote
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our Young People's Safeguarding team in Peterborough. This role involves working with children and families to ensure safety and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake social work tasks for Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Children in Care (CIC).
Complete direct work with young people and families to safeguard and support them.
Develop and implement care plans in line with statutory requirements.
Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to achieve the best outcomes for children.
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
Experience in safeguarding and working with young people.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
